Blessed Sacrament School sponsors many scout troops.
Girl Scouts:
There are currently four Girl Scout troops – Daisy (kindergarten and first grades), Brownies (second and third grades), Juniors (fourth and fifth grades), and Cadets (sixth and seventh grades).
Boy Scouts:
There is a very active Boy Scout troop as well. They include the four Cub Scout levels: Tiger (first grade), Wolf (second grade), Bear (third grade), Webelo (fourth and fifth), and Boys Scouts (sixth through twelfth).
The church and school actively supports both organizations by supporting their cookie, popcorn and spaghetti dinners. Blessed Sacrament has also hosted Pack 16’s annual Pinewood Derby, which is an exciting and favorite activity of the Cub Scouts. All the scout organizations give back to the church and school through regular cleanup days that help them earn their service hours and help spruce up the grounds.
