Assessments & Testing

MAP Testing (Measure of Academic Progress)

MAP Growth is new standardized testing process designed to assess student academic progress. Blessed Sacrament students in Kindergarten – 8th grade will take computer-adaptive tests over a span of three weeks using different types of technology. The MAP growth test adjusts to the student’s academic level, engaging them in questions that are challenging. This is a different kind of test in many ways and we are excited to gain the data to help teachers reach all types of learners. The test sessions will be administered three times a year: September, January and April/May.

Grades 3, 5, and 7 are also administered the InView cognitive abilities test.

Grades 5 and 8 participate in a national religion survey test.
