EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM (EDP) at
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School

Blessed Sacrament’s Extended Day Program was established in 1986, responding to the needs of parents in the Savannah school community for safe, supervised after-school care. The program, part of the comprehensive offerings at Blessed Sacrament School Savannah, includes both after-school and before-school care.

Objectives

  • Provide supervision for students in a loving and relaxed environment where children’s physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Provide an environment where children will develop an enthusiasm for learning, exploring, and creativity.
  • Provide supervised structured play time and opportunities to complete homework and study.

Daily Activities

The Extended Day Program at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School  begins each afternoon with a nourishing snack.  Homework time is a part of the daily schedule for grades 1 – 8. Students are offered a variety of activities. This includes homework (1-8), outdoor play, activity time, crafts, games, and free play.

Operating Hours

  • School Days: 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM and 2:50 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Office Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Early Dismissal Days: 12:20 PM to 6:00 PM 
  • Conference Days: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (ONLY for students with scheduled conferences)

 EDP is not available on student holidays or the first/last day of school.

REGISTRATION & FEES:

Online registration is available on the FACTS Family Portal and is due in July. Families are encouraged to submit their registration as soon as possible to avoid the waiting list. It is highly recommended that all parents register their child(ren) in case the program is needed in the event of an emergency. 

Program Fees

Full Time EDP: 

Available every school day, except the first/last days of school. Conference days and half-days are not included; these will have a separate first come/first serve registraiton.

$225/month for one student, $210/month for each additional sibling

Drop-In: 

Requires a 24-hour notice to attend. Not available the first/last day of school.

$30 per day, billed the following month. 

Morning Only: 

Offered daily from 7:00 AM- 7:30 AM, excluding the first/last days of school

$100/month per student

Early Dismissal Days: 12:20 PM-6:00PM

All students must pre-register (the EDP director will email a sign-up one month in advance).

$35 per student

Conference Days:

All students must pre-register (the EDP director will email a sign-up one month in advance).

$50 per student

 

All students must be picked up by 6:00PM or a late fee will be applied. 

All EDP services will be automatically billed on the first of each month. Monthly fees will be automatically withdrawn from your account via FACTS on the 15th of each month. Drop-in charges will be billed on the last day of the month. Fees will not be prorated for partial months. If you wish to cancel your monthly service, you must do so in writing 30 days in advance, and any fees incurred prior to the notice are the participants’ sole responsibility.
