For more than 80 years, Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, a key part of the Diocese of Savannah, has been known for educational excellence, strong Catholic faith formation, and nurturing development of the whole child. Our mission, inspired by the Sisters of Mercy, is to prepare students beyond the classroom to lead, love, and serve God, the Church, and the world.

Blessed Sacrament School offers a variety of clubs and after school activities throughout the year. These clubs are operated by faculty and staff or volunteers, and may change from year to year. Popular clubs include Altar Servers (4-8 grade) Choir, Music/Marching Band, Art, Science Bowl, Broadcast News, and Service Projects with our Buddy Classes. **The Extended Day Program also offers classes from outside organizations such as cooking, dance, soccer, and lacrosse.
There are also opportunities for academic and character-based organizations including:
Uniforms, a staple of Savannah Catholic schools, are required for students in grades K-8. Uniforms may be purchased from Bahama Joe’s and A1 Uniforms. Students are required to have their regular daily uniform, PE uniform, and dress uniform. The Home & School Association has a used uniform closet and offers a used uniform sale twice a year.
Blessed Sacrament School uses FACTS as their student information system. This allows parents to view their child’s grades, communicate with teachers, access information regarding assignments and school information, and manage tuition and payment options.
Our students are consistently recognized as both well prepared academically and equiped with the skills needed to successfully navigate high school. Students who graduate from Blessed Sacrament School in 8th grade often go on to high school at Saint Vincent’s Academy, Benedictine Military School. Some students choose other local public or private schools.
Information for the next school year is available each February on our Blessed Sacrament School website here.
Blessed Sacrament has three tiers of tuition for K-8th grade: In Parish/Participating Catholics, Out of Parish Catholic Rate, and Non-Catholic.
To qualify for the reduced Catholic tuition rate, each year Blessed Sacrament School must receive a Parish Subsidy Request signed by the Pastor from your Catholic Parish.
The Pre-Kindergarten rate is the same for all students.
We offer financial aid supported by Blessed Sacrament Church, Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, and the Diocese of Savannah. Interested families must complete a FACTS Grant & Aid application to determine eligibility for tuition assistance. FACTS Grant & Aid applications are available starting in January and are due by March 1 for the upcoming school year. There is limited aid available.
Transportation is handled by parents, with Extended Day care options available at Blessed Sacrament School.
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School accepts students of any race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin. On average, about 25% of our student population is non-Catholic. Regardless of faith, all students take religion classes and will attend school mass during the school week.
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School thrives with the support and volunteerism of our families! Opportunities for family involvement include: serving in the cafeteria, being a room parent, participating in Home & School (which is like PTA), helping with booster club and athletics. All volunteers must be VIRTUS training prior to volunteering.
