As part of our Christian formation, students in grades 6-8 will be required to share their gifts through service for others. All students will be required to complete their hours of service.
We are asking that students perform meaningful service within their school/parish, home/neighborhood and the community of Savannah. Each grade level has a deadline by which their hours must be completed. Each service must be accompanied with signatures from the adult overseeing the service and a personal reflection of their experience. While this is the responsibility of the student, we ask for parent support to ensure that the required hours, signatures and reflections are completed by the assigned deadline.

Our students live in the Corporal Works of Mercy. Service learning is an opportunity for students to discover compassion, develop empathy and to embrace diversity by working with their chosen service group. Students will work with buddy classes to connect with an organization. Teachers and students plan, coordinate, and create a minimum of one activity per quarter to embrace their service a Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, a school that stands out among private schools in Savannah.
