Stay “In The Know”

On May 22, 2020 we ended our last week of distance learning! Ms. Whitney and her 6th grade science class explored renewable and nonrenewable resources last week. On Wednesday, students built a shoe box solar cooker with a shoe box, foil, tape, and plastic wrap. On Friday, they used their solar cookers to make s’mores! A. Grayson (6G) had a very successful experiment as her solar cooker reached 115 degrees Fahrenheit (maybe even hotter as it was the first day this week we had full sun)! What a tasty way to end Earth Science! Thanks Ms. Whitney!
