Summer is HERE and fun in the sun is all most of us have on our mind! But, don’t forget…to keep the brain in active mode there are Summer Expectations for your student! Make sure to map out a little bit of time every day to read, work on math, or a little of both!

DUE AUG. 12th (First Day of School). Please bring all projects and workbooks with you to school on the First Day!

Join our “think-tank” as we create school-wide policies for technology use at BSS. These new policies will be implemented this Fall. Your input is invaluable.

HOT TOPIC:  Digitally Distracted-Parenting in the Age of Technology

Kids spend more than eight hours per day, seven days a week on electronic devices.  The results is a malleable brain that is rewired to assimilate to a cyber world – not the real world.  The byproduct is chronic anxiety, attention deficit, depression, poor social skills, academic failure, and family relationship problems.  We were blessed this year to host public speaker, Tom Kertsing.  His lecture was an eye-opener and included tips to help live in the real world.  LEARN MORE!
