For the past two weeks students in Upper School and Lower School have been draining their piggy banks and emptying your pockets to raise money for Pennies for Patients. They were not only raising money for a good cause, but they did so to earn the privilege of taping their candidate to the wall. And, on Monday at the Pep Rally, they got to do just that. With a willing spirit and a smile on his face Mr. Jackson was taped!
But the real winner is Pennies for Patients. Our school goal was $1,500 and we more than doubled that with a final total raised of $3,014.74.
On Monday, March 2nd, BSS Hero Lily Stuckey was on deck to supervise the taping and to celebrate with her 8th class as they were the class who raised the most. What a great way to celebrate Lily and to raise awareness. #jamaltothewall
THANK YOU to Mrs. Brooke Clarke and to all of YOU who sent out group text reminders and who sent in contributions (large and small). Once again, it’s a reflection of how blessed we are as a community. #blessedtobeirish
