Children are encouraged to attend.

Curriculum Night Set for Thursday, August 15th:

Curriculum Night will be held in the BSS gym from 6:30PM-8:30PM on Thursday, August 15th. This is a night designed just for parents to meet the staff, get acquainted with the leaders of the various parent organizations that make our school so successful, and create the plan that will determine your child’s destination this school year. Even if you have been at Blessed Sacrament for many years, this night is crucial to a positive beginning for your child.

Welcome to the 2013-2014 School Year: The Year of Heroes

One of the greatest strenghts of our school family is that we begin each year with a collective vision that guides us throughout the year. This upcoming year, God is guiding us to use the gifts he has given us to be heroes in lives of others. Real heroes don't leap from tall buildings, stop bullets with an outstretched hand, or even wear tights and capes in their daily life. However, heroes do use their superpowers (gifts from God) to go out into the world to help others.  How will we accomplish this as a school family? We must all (parents, teachers, and students) live the life of a H.E.R.O.

H-a hero sees themselves as the hands of God. God expects us to serve Him by serving others. We should never doubt    the great things we can achieve by knowing He is working through us.

E-a hero strives for excellence in evey task he is given.

R-a hero always does the right thing (especially when no one is watching).

O-a hero only looks for the good in others.

We look forward to seeing you when school begins on Monday, August 19th!  Will you be ready to be a HERO?
